In late January, Team Velosport puts on a large team camp focused on learning, development, team building and training. This 3 day camp is an annual highlight, setting the team off to a strong start of the season.
The past seven years have been held in Santa Maria, California. This agricultural city is a short bike ride away from a vast network of safe, open farm roads. The weekend includes competitive events, team building events, endurance rides, lectures, skills drills and some fun relaxing time. With special guests at the camp it can be quite an exciting and busy weekend. The camp is USA Cycling sanctioned and even qualifies for race upgrade points. Pro racers and cycling industry legends often make appearances at the camp!
